Strategic Partnerships for Greater Kingdom Impact

Tools That Bring the Gospel Anywhere

The Jesus Film Project provides a full range of equipment, media tools, and strategies that help churches and missionaries share the gospel effectively. Portable projection kits, battery powered systems like tablets with Bluetooth speakers make it possible to reach communities anywhere, in cities and even in remote and off-grid locations. Digital tools like the Jesus Film Project App (www.jesusfilm.org/app) and the Knowing Jesus discipleship series put hundreds of films and resources into the hands of leaders in their own languages.

Maximizing Impact Through Shared Resources

As good stewards of the resources entrusted to us, we are intentional about maximizing impact while minimizing unnecessary costs. Instead of supplying each individual church with its own Jesus Film showing kit which may only be used a few times a year, we form strategic partnerships with clusters of churches in a region. Within this model, one crowd showing kit is allocated to the entire group, allowing all participating churches to share the equipment as needed. This approach ensures that the kit is in regular use, expands reach, and greatly reduces expenses, making it far more sustainable.

Equipping Leaders for Effective Ministry

But partnership is about more than equipment. At the outset, we invest in training all participating church leaders. Through workshops, we equip them with tools such as the Knowing Jesus small group segment study and the Jesus Film App, while also providing practical guidance on how to begin and grow small groups in their communities. We include interactive role-play to prepare leaders for real-life ministry situations, ensuring that the training goes beyond theory and can be implemented immediately.

Transformation in the Free State

Here is an exciting example busy happening in the Free State. What began as a simple outreach trip led to a local movement where multiple churches, once divided, united to bring the Gospel to their community. This partnership has resulted in numerous film showings, growing collaboration among 12 congregations, and new opportunities for discipleship. Pastors and workers have since been trained to use digital tools, simple discipleship strategies, and resources like the Jesus Film App and Knowing Jesus segments on tablets, empowering them to start multiplying small groups and share God’s Word in meaningful, relational ways.

As these small groups begin to take root, leaders submit regular reports, enabling us to track progress, celebrate growth, and provide ongoing support. This accountability strengthens the partnership, as each church contributes to a shared vision while benefiting from mutual encouragement and collective resources.

A Sustainable Model for Multiplying Discipleship

By working in this way, we multiply the effectiveness of every Jesus Film kit, short-term collaboration among churches, and build a foundation for long-term discipleship and outreach. This strategy not only conserves resources but also strengthens networks of leaders and believers who are united in advancing the gospel together.
