SLM-SA has a new National Leader

“Student-Led Ministry”

SLM-SA (Student-Led Movement South Africa) has a new dawn and is BUZZING. I thank God for using me and you to reach students with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

I am very excited to inform you that I have a New role in Campus Crusade for Christ South Africa. I am the New National Leader of SLM-SA as from January 2019.

Just to remind you, “SLM is the University and college ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ. It focuses on evangelizing to Students, help them grow in their relationship with God and encourage them to do the same with their fellow students and communities”. Our Slogan is “Win the Campus today, Win the World tomorrow…”.

Students are the future of any nation and the guidance given to them defines the future of a nation. Through the Student-Led Movement we want to help students come to know Jesus, grow in their faith, then go to their families, their communities and all over the world to tell others about God’s love.

This new role is giving me the opportunity to make major decisions and lead the SLM Team to seek the face of the Lord to help us to come up with new strategic plans and implement them. One of the strategies we are going to fully implement is CATALYTIC STRATEGY.

What is Catalytic campus?

Is where students lead the campuses where staff Members of Campus Crusade for Christ are not based. At the moment we are in 12 universities in the country and we believe that this Strategy will help us to add Eight more universities by June 2020.

Our Role is to take the initiative to:

  1. Explore and network eight new universities,
  2. Recruit 40 volunteers who are aligned to our mission,
  3. Form a team of volunteers. We will assign a few staff to build into the key volunteers,
  4. Build multiplying new Spiritual movements and life-time labourers.
  5. Launching movements in every tertiary institution by developing students to become leaders who impact their campus, community, and world for Christ.

Prayer Item:

Please join us in prayer as we ask God to give us the strength, energy and Wisdom to work together as a team and quickly meet up with key students who will be willing to form and lead Spiritual movements on Campuses.
