SLM – Celebration at UFS

Acts 6000

Staff and students join in Celebration at UFS

We were blessed to host an A6 Team from Campus Crusade, South Korea at the University of the Free State recently. A6 stands for ‘ACTS 6000’ and is a pioneering project targeting 6000 major campuses around the world. Staff and students from Campus Crusade Korea are recruited to go to mainly African countries on short-term missions of evangelism and discipleship. We are so thankful to God for these committed young people!

From 26 February until 6 April we hosted two staff and seven students from Korea. Our South African SLM staff from outside Bloemfontein also participated in the mission by traveling to Bloemfontein for approximately one week per staff unit.

We are thankful to the Lord for our SLM Leader in Bloemfontein, Keontse Selesanyeng for preparing the groundwork for the mission. Also thank you to Willie Botha who was a great support in so many ways.

Praise the Lord! The Koreans worked alongside our South African Campus Crusade staff and students at UFS in Bloemfontein, and we are encouraged to report the following fruit: –
  • 300 Gospel Conversations.
  • 200 Gospel Presentations.
  • 180 indicating they had prayed to receive Christ.
  • 4 trained Multiplying Disciples.
  • 15 students completing our New Life Training Course.
  • 32 students engaged in discipleship, and about 20 members gathering weekly.

Join us in praying for continuing and lasting fruit.

We give God all the glory!
