Being part of CCCSA is a privilege that allows us to reach our nation and extend beyond our borders into Africa and the world. Why do I call this a privilege? Because of the clear mandate given to us by Jesus, as recorded in Scripture:
The Great Commission in Matthew 28:18–20 says, “And Jesus came and said to them, ‘All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.’”
Similarly, in Acts 1:8, we read, “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”
Jesus gives us direct instructions to take the Gospel to all nations and people groups. We are also reminded in Matthew 24:14 that “this Gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.”
From late September to 5 October 2024, I had the opportunity to attend the CCC Africa Prayer Forum Conference and Transformational Prayer training in Nairobi, Kenya. Meeting people from various nations in Africa and learning alongside experienced intercessors was an incredible experience. The sessions provided teaching as well as practical insights into Transformational Prayer processes. The remaining training will be completed online with the Transformational Prayer team from the USA, led by Kathy Kral.

Being called to ministry with CCCSA is a high and wonderful calling. It is humbling to know that Jesus Himself gives us the authority to spread His message. When we begin to understand our authority in Christ, as revealed in Scripture, and embrace the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, we become powerful instruments in the hands of our Abba Father. Reference scriptures: Ephesians 1:16–23; Ephesians 2:6–10; Ephesians 3:20–21; and Ephesians 6:11–19.
Reaching the world through prayer is both a challenge and an honour. If we could see how our prayers are intricately woven into God’s plans and the spiritual impact they have, we would be left speechless. The effectiveness of our prayers is rooted in Jesus Christ, the Word of God, and the Holy Spirit. The more we know God’s Word, the better equipped we are to pray according to His will. Reference scriptures: John 16:23–24; Matthew 6:9–15; Luke 11:1–6.
Never underestimate the power of prayer. James 5:16 reminds us, “Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working.” Likewise, in 2 Corinthians 5:20–21, we read, “Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making His appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. For our sake He made Him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God.”
I challenge myself and everyone in CCCSA to make prayer the foundation of our ministry. Let every staff meeting be a prayer meeting, every planning session rooted in prayer, and every outreach birthed and sustained by fervent prayer—before, during, and after.
