After 14 years without an internship programme, having a new cohort of young leaders join us has truly been an answer to prayer. For many years, we have faithfully prayed and trusted God to raise a new generation of labourers who would join us in reaching students and communities with the message of Christ.

This year, the Lord answered those prayers by bringing five young women into our Internship Programme. Over the past few months, it has been a beautiful journey to walk alongside them as they have grown in their faith, developed ministry skills, and experienced the realities of serving in full-time ministry.

Their journey began with a season of Ministry Partner Development (MPD), where they learned that support raising is not merely about finances—it is ministry. Through meeting people, sharing vision, and inviting others to partner in God’s work, they have been learning faith, perseverance, communication, and dependence on the Lord.

The interns have now transitioned into field ministry, where they are applying what they have learned through evangelism, discipleship, and movement-building. They are being coached and mentored by experienced staff who are helping them discover what it means to live a life of mission and service.

As we reflect on this journey, we are reminded that the goal of the internship is not simply to recruit future staff members. Our desire is to faithfully invest in young leaders, helping them discern God’s calling, develop Christ-like character, and gain practical ministry experience. Some may continue into full-time ministry, while others may serve Christ faithfully in churches, communities, and the marketplace.

We celebrate what God has done so far and remain expectant for what He will continue to do in and through these young leaders.
