Jesus Film Outreaches: From Rows to Circles

The response to Jesus Film showings is overwhelmingly positive, both for the individuals and the community. Together they experience a fresh understanding of the Biblical message of Jesus in their heart language.
Collaborating with local churches and organizations has been instrumental in our outreach efforts. After training and access to projections resources, these partnerships facilitate the film showings but also helped in following up with attendees, providing ongoing support and community.
Over and over, we are touched by the stories of personal transformation because of outreach events. We often hear how watching our films led to a profound change in their life, bringing hope and direction.
The outreach teams implement follow-up initiatives to ensure that the impact of the film extends beyond the initial screenings. This includes small group get-togethers using digital resources with the Knowing Jesus Discipleship segment strategy and other Bible studies programs, designed to help new believers grow in their new relationship with God. From sitting in rows watching films to small group gatherings sitting in circles. As we moving forward, our focus will be on expanding our reach to new areas and continuing to build strong relationships with local urban and rural communities in South Africa. We are also exploring new ways in technology and material. Our latest project is the creating of a new, theater quality animated family film about the life of Jesus (ASJ). Just like the original JESUS film (1979), the new animated film of Jesus will be faithful to Scripture. In fact, its dialogue makes seamless use of the existing 2,000+ language recordings of JESUS (1979). It is the power of God’s Word that changes lives. Innovations like this will enhance our outreach strategies and maximize the impact of our efforts.
