The Art of Marriage
Pastor Witter and his wife enjoying couple’s time

The most satisfying thing is when CCC resources are used and shared locally. This was the case on the 29th and 30th of July when “The Art of Marriage” was presented at the Waterkloof Baptist Church. Robert and Koliswa Moropa are involved with CCCSA since 1982 and when asked to lead the Family Ministry at their local church (Waterkloof Baptist), they took the initiative to do “The Art of Marriage” weekend. Robert also facilitated the event and 19 couples attended, including the Senior and Youth pastors and their wives.

Pastor Paul Witter had such a positive experience that the church is already planning to budget for a seminar next year. The best of all, the local congregation did it themselves and they excelled, while Robert was an excellent facilitator!

Couples pledge their commitment again
Couple’s projects are always a blessing

Here is a special testimony from the seminar! Meet Thu and San. They are from Myanmar (Burma), worked in South Africa and were on their way to Australia. They (with their 2 daughters) booked in at Quintus and Isolde Swanepoel’s Airbnb for a 4 nights’ stay to sort out their visas. Six weeks later they were still at the Swanepoel’s and still waiting! On the spur of the moment Quintus invited them to the “The Art of Marriage” seminar and they joyfully accepted. Here is what happened since: Thu and San are a Buddhist couple, when given the opportunity to fill in their evaluation forms after the event, they ticked the following boxes:

They are still waiting for their visas and are now being followed up by Quintus and Isolde (the father and mother of FamilyLife SA) to assist them with assurance of salvation and spiritual growth. Isn’t this a beautiful plan from a loving and creative Father?
